CHS Ag class works with cutting edge tool

Computers are part of everyday life in ways that many people don’t even realize. Fortunately, Clinton schools are on top of things when it comes to preparing students for a high tech future.
Metal shop isn’t what it used to be, so the high school’s Ag Department recently acquired a plasma cutting table. Although plasma cutters aren’t something new, computerized plasma cutting tables are becoming more and more the norm.
Keith Miller, head of the school’s Ag Department, said they got the plasma cutter about a month ago. They’ve been learning how to use it themselves, before school begins next month.
