Julie Ann Myers

Funeral services for Julie Ann Myers, 53, Clinton resident, were scheduled for 10 a.m. today (Thursday) in the Whinery-Savage Chapel, Elk City, officiated by Pastor Kevin Akins.
Mrs. Myers died Monday, Nov. 11, 2013, at Clinton. She was born March 7, 1960 in Elk City, the daughter of Ruth Ann and Archie Eugene Blackmon.
She grew up and attended school in Sayre and began working at Aladdin Beauty College in Clinton as an instructor.
Mrs. Myers had begun taking classes in jewelry making and had plans to start her own business. She also enjoyed breaking and training horses and barrel racing.
Preceding her in death were her parents, and a granddaughter, Molly Stine.
Survivors include two children, Eric Stine and his wife, Tessa, Elk City, Marcayla Myers, Clinton; three grandchildren, Eric Stine, Jr., Cherokee Jo Duncan and Teagen Renae Stine; one brother, Tony Ollison, Mississippi; and one sister, Angela, Texas.
Arrangements are under the direction of Whinery-Savage Funeral Service, Elk City.
