Annis “Irene” Klein

Funeral services for Annis “Irene” Klein, 84, of Clinton, will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in the First Church of God with Roy Dobbs ociating. Burial will conclude in the Clinton Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau Lee Funeral Home. Mrs. Klein was born Feb. 2, 1929, in Ringling to J.C. and Alpha (Brittain) Harris and died Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013 in Clinton. Klein lived in Ringling until she was 5 years old when her family moved to Clinton. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1947. She went to work for McLellan’s and later T. G. & Y. stores. On Nov. 15, 1953, she married Calvin Klein, and they made their home in Clinton. She has been an active and faithful member of the First Church of God where she was part of the Women’s Missionary Society. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing, quilting, and embroidery. She was preceded in death in 2011 by her husband, Calvin Klein, her parents, a sister, Ruby  Baxter, and a brother, Marvin Harris, brother and sister-in-laws; Marie and Claude Graham, Boyd Fawver, Beulah Klein, Melba Klein, and Howard Baxter. Survivors include her children, Allen Klein and wife Sheila, of Hinton; David Klein and wife Sherri, of Clinton; and Karen Clanton and husband Mike Clanton, of Clinton. Also grandchildren, Sarah Harp and husband Josh, of Hinton; Stephen Klein, of Weatherford; Julie Homier and husband Brad, of Hinton; Kaci Klein, of Clinton; Amy Hook and husband Ryan, of Yukon; Allison and Blake Clanton, of Clinton; great grandchildren, Lela, London, Levi Harp, and Braydon Homier of Hinton and Reagan Hook, of Yukon; brother and sister-inlaws, Clara Fawver and Arthur Klein, of Butler, Lee Klein and wife Betty, of Oklahoma City, and Grie Klein and wife Wanda, of Wichita, Kan
