City renews $20,000 for MCYS

The City of Clinton’s regular contribution of $20,000 per year to Multi-County Youth Services was approved at the last City Council meeting.
City Manager Mark Skiles said an approval document spells out MCYS’s obligations to the city.
Unanimous approval for the city’s donation came after Custer County commissioners decided to wait and see how their next budget comes out before reapproving a $25,000 contribution they normally make.
One vehicle and one equipment purchase also were made at the council meeting.
