Father, son suspects in big Farmrail theft

A father and son have been charged with grand larceny for allegedly stealing an estimated $25,000 worth of metal railroad materials from Farmrail of Clinton.
The suspects are Gary Alan Jeffries Sr., 61, of El Reno, and Gary Alan Jeffries Jr., 34, of Clinton. They were arrested Aug. 20 at Weatherford following a slow-speed pursuit from Clinton by a Custer County sheriff’s deputy and an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper.
Detective 1st Lt. Ron McLemore of the Clinton Police Department said the pair was captured with the help of a citizen who wished to remain anonymous.
