Even though sales to its biggest customer – the City of Clinton – dropped almost $600,000, the Foss Reservoir Master Conservancy District still showed a profit of more than $250,000 during calendar year 2015, the district’s annual audit indicates.
Net income dropped from approximately $579,000 in 2014 to $252,000, the audit shows. “But we still made money,” said the district’s accountant, Clinton CPA Bruce Tharel.
And he had even more good news. “Halfway through this year (2016) we’re showing a $325,000 profit – more than we had for the whole year in 2015,” he said.
