Hailey Foundation aids Pyron family; Family Fun Night set

Last year, when the Help Hailey Foundation Family Fun Night was held in the Frisco Center, Katina Pyron had no idea what it was or what the organization was about.

A month later, she found out when her daughter, 12-year-old Emma, was diagnosed with tuberous schlerosis, a rare genetic disease that occurs in one out of every 50,000 births.

TS causes tumors to grow in every organ in the body and affects each child differently. Some suffer seizures and developmental problems, but Emma has not had either of those symptoms.
