New water predicted in 90 days

An amendment that could help get water flowing from a well on private property west of town into city towers within 90 days was approved unanimously Tuesday night by trustees of the Clinton Public Works Authority.
The well would be drilled on land owned by farmer Johnnie Dixon from whom the authority leased 10 acres of water rights on Aug. 5.
