Police probe Sights Acres burglaries

Clinton police confirmed Thursday that they were working “another rash of car burglaries,” most or all in the Sights Acres section of town and all reported Wednesday.
“Most were from vehicles with car doors left unlocked which is very frustrating for us,” said Capt. Mike Murley, the department’s senior detective. “We would encourage the public to please lock their car doors and remove their property, especially firearms and wallets.
