Registration deadline for city elections Friday

Custer County Election Board Secretary Ann Brown said that Friday, July 29, is the last day to apply for voter registration in order to be eligible to vote in the Aug. 23 City of Clinton Ward 4 and City of Weatherford Ward 2 and Ward 4 elections.
Brown said that persons who are United States citizens, residents of Oklahoma, and at least 18 years old may apply to become registered voters. In order to vote in the aforementioned city elections, persons must also be a resident of Clinton or Weatherford, respectively.
Persons who have never been registered to vote before, or who are currently registered but need to change their registration information, may apply by filling out and mailing a Voter Registration Application form in time for it to be postmarked no later than midnight Friday, July 29.
