Retail outfit still reports to city

An Alabama company hired nearly a year ago to recruit retail businesses for Clinton continues to work behind the scenes, says City Manager Mark Skiles.
“They send a monthly report to us as far as what trade shows they would be promoting Clinton at,” said Skiles when asked if there has been any action. “At times they mention specific businesses they’re pitching us to.”
