Two Clinton art students, Holly Ronan and Addyson Gagne, are having their artwork displayed this week in the Rotunda Gallery at the Oklahoma State Capitol. The exhibit is part of a special Visual Art Scholarship Event (VASE). Both girls created their artwork at Clinton Middle School as eighth-graders and were promoted in May to ninth grade.
Out of over 1,500 pieces submitted from the entire state, from both high schools and junior highs, only 21 pieces were accepted into the exhibit. On Sept. 14, 2016, the 21 pieces will go up for auction with the proceeds benefiting the VASE scholarship.
