The activities and recreation department at the Clinton Veterans Center is regularly helped in its work by a group of cheerful, willing volunteers. But this volunteer staff is of the four-legged, tail-wagging variety.
Pet therapy is a regular occurrence at the center, and according to recreation director Jason Baker, has been for some time.
Baker said that as long as a dog’s vaccination records are up to date and it’s well-behaved, employees are welcome to bring the dog to work.
