The Clinton Chamber of Commerce will hold a general membership luncheon meeting from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Frisco Conference Center, said chamber president Julie Burden.
Much of Arapaho, including the Custer County Courthouse, lost regular landline telephone service shortly after 4 p.m. Thursday.
Phones were still out late Friday morning.
Although the Mission House sends out frequent pleas to the community for food, director Debbie Ailanjian said extra food certainly isn’t needed this week.
Effective July 1, security at the Custer County Courthouse will be greatly reduced due to budget restrictions, Sheriff Kenneth Tidwell announced Friday.
According to Custer County Clerk Melissa Parker, all of the phones at the Custer County Court House are not working.
