Clinton Chamber of Commerce is now accepting vendor applications and auto show registrations for the Route 66 Festival, said Chamber president Julie Burden.
Registration for Summer Playground 2017 will be held next week from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m.
A threat by a student to bring some sort of weapon into Clinton High School resulted in the lockdown of the school for approximately an hour Wednesday morning.
The lockdown at Clinton high School has been lifted. “Everything is fine, there was no gun found,” said Clinton Police Detective Mike Murley.
Clinton High School was placed on lock down this morning as a precautionary measure after the school received a threatening phone call.
