Dora Lee Meadows

Dora Lee Meadows, 82, of Elk City, Okla.,was born Feb. 25, 1932 in Bessie, Okla. She was the daughter of Carl Lee Musick and Jessie Hubbard.  Dora passed away Sept. 12, 2014 at the Bell Avenue Nursing Home, Elk City, Okla.

Dora met and married Ronald “Ronnie” Meadows on March 7, 1957 in Las Vegas, Nev.

She enjoyed long drives in the country, bingo, dominoes, crochet, needlepoint and embroidery.  Dora always loved spending time with her family and friends.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Monday, Sept. 15, 2014 at the Martin-Dugger Funeral Home Chapel in Elk City, Okla. Chasten Musick will officiate.

Interment will be at Fairlawn Cemetery in Elk City.  Services are under the direction of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home in Elk City, Okla.

Memorials can be made to the Comforting Hands Hospice in care of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home, 600 W. Country Club Blvd., Elk City, Okla. 73644.

Dora is survived by her son, Rusty Meadows and wife, Debbie, of Elk City, Okla.; three daughters, Janette Plemons of Elk City, Okla., Jolenna Wright of Amarillo, Texas, and Robin Johnson of Elk City, Okla.; nine grandchildren, Larry Wayne Plemons of Elk City, Okla., Ben Plemons  and Ashley Wright, both of Oklahoma City, Okla., Andy Wright of Amarillo, Texas, Alisha Meadows of Elk City, Okla.,

Cody Meadows of Canute, Okla., Casey Meadows, Travis Johnson and Shae Glancy  all of Elk City, Okla.; and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Musick and Jessie Hubbard; two daughters, Sondra Jones and Doris Jean Jones; and several sisters and brothers.
