Francisco Pina Muñoz
A Mass of Christian Burial for Francisco Pina Muñoz, 51, was held Tuesday morning in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Clinton, officiated by Father Thomas Patedu.
Burial was in the Clinton Cemetery, officiated by Deacon Bill Hough.
A Rosary was observed Monday in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home in Clinton.
Francisco Pina Muñoz was born July 7, 1963 to Enriquez Pina Rincon and Maria Muñoz Patino in San Miguel, Octopan, Mexico, and died Saturday, May 23, 2015, in his residence in Clinton.
Muñoz was raised in Mexico where he graduated from high school.
He continued his education and received two years of college. He came to the United States of America in 1983 where he was employed at a restaurant in Woodward.
He made the move to Clinton in 1993 and worked for Bar-S Foods for more than 17 years.
Most recently he has worked on a pipeline company in the oilfields.
He was preceded in death by his mother and a grandson, Juan Soto, Jr.
He was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include his wife, Hilda J. Huitron , of the home, two daughters, Teresa Pina and Celeste Ponce and husband, Able, and a son, Francisco Pina, Jr., all of Clinton; his father Enriquez Pina Rincon, of Mexico, 8 sisters, Emma Pina, of Denton , Texas, Esperanza Pina, of Mexico, Margarita Pina, of Texas, Gloria Pina, of Chicago, Ill., Teresa Pina, of Mexico, Dolores Pina, of Denton, Texas, Leticia Pina, of Mexico and Gisela Pina, of Mexico; four brothers, Felipe Pina, of Clinton, Fernando Pina, of Mexico, Jose Enrique Pina, of Mexico and Jose Pina, of Mexico; and six grandchildren, Mackenzly, Jade, Genesis, Christian, Alan and Zaiden.
Jasmine Reyes, a family member of Francisco Pina Muñoz, was in attendance for arrangements and the funeral services.
