Elsie Maxine (Stacy) Boomershine
A graveside service for Elsie Maxine (Stacy) Boomershine, 71, of Clinton, was scheduled for 2 p.m. today (Tuesday) in the Arapaho Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Charles Murphy.
Mrs. Boomershine died Friday, July 3, 2015, at Clinton Regional Hospital. She was born Dec. 23, 1943, in Winfield, Kan., the daughter of Charles and Versie Ellen (Fleming) Stacy.
She was raised and attended school in Cedar Vale, Kan., and was married to Jimmy Wayne Boomershine Sr., Nov. 1, 1963, in Newkirk.
Preceding her in death were her husband, her parents and four brothers.
Survivors include a daughter, Leslie Favela, of Wichita, Kan.; a son, Jimmy Boomershine Jr., and his wife, Loriann, of Clinton; a sister, Irma Shore, of Burden, Kan.; a brother, Leroy Stacy, of Sedan, Kan.; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
