Floyd Grady Griffin
A chapel service for Floyd Grady Griffin, 61, Fay resident and former Clinton resident, were held Thursday afternoon in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel, officiated by Doug Lewis.
Griffin died Thursday, July 2, 2015, in the Oklahoma City Veterans Administration Hospital. He was born Dec. 9, 1953 in Clinton, the son of Milburn Grady Griffin and Goldie Viola (Hemby).
He was raised in Clinton, where he attended school. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in February of 1971 and served until October of 1976.
Griffin had made his homes in Clinton, Missouri and Florida before settling in Fay in 1997. He had been a trucker most of his life.
Griffin was a member of the Disabled Veterans of America.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Debra Joann Griffin, of Snyder, Texas; a daughter, Michelle Lynn Griffin, of eastern Oklahoma; a son, Michael Paul Griffin, and his wife, Christina Mae, of Fay; two sisters, Sharon Kay Smith, and her husband, Don, and Connie Louise Ratzlaff and her husband, Percy, of Piedmont; and four grandchildren, Nevaeh Belle Jo Ann Griffin, Michael Paul Griffin, Jr., Shawn Grady Vaughn Griffin and Tilia Griffin.
Arrangements were under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home in Clinton.
