Jessie Marie (Kisinger) Burgard
Memorial services for Jessie Marie (Kisinger) Burgard have been set for 10 a.m. Friday at the First Church of God in Clinton, with Greg Hill officiating.
Mrs. Burgard died late Monday, July 27, 2015, at the Angelwood Assisted Living Center, in Clinton. She was born Dec. 7, 1929, in Foss, the daughter of Hazir and Jessie (Hicks) Kisinger.
She was raised in Butler, attended schools in Butler, then moved to Clinton and waitressed at several places before she was employed by the Clinton Schools in the cafeteria at the middle school and the high school, until she retired in 1988.
She married Stephen Burgard on Oct. 10, 1966, in Minot, N.D.
She was a member of the First Church of God in Clinton.
Preceding her in death were both her parents, her husband in 1993, and one daughter, Margaret Fawver, and one son, Edward Kisinger.
She is survived by 1 son, Don Burgard, and his wife, Chris, of Clinton, 1 sister, Sue Bloodworth, of Clinton, 1 brother, Don Kisinger and his wife, Betty, of Arapaho; and 3 grandchildren, Avery, Abby, and Anniston.
Arrangements are under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home in Clinton. Burial will follow later in the Arapaho Cemetery.
