Yvonne Bose Baker
Private services for Clinton alumna Yvonne Bose Baker, 68, of Rogers, Ark., will be held at a later date with interment at Rose Cemetery in Hobart.
Mrs. Baker died Monday, Aug. 3, 2015, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, Ark. She was born Aug. 27, 1946, in Cordell to Edward and Margaret Bose.
She graduated from Clinton High School and the former Southwestern State College in Weatherford. She was previously a full-time substitute teacher in the Rogers Elementary School System.
Mrs. Baker was of the Baptist faith.
Preceding her in death were her parents; uncle and aunt, Fred and Mary Bose Wagner; sisters, Anna Marie Bose and Lucille Bose Streeb; and brothers, Victor Bose, Donald Bose, Edward Bose Jr. and Robert Bose.
Survivors include her husband of 47 years, J. L. Baker; a daughter, Melissa Novak, and her husband, Stan, of North Andover, Md.; a son, James Baker of Rogers, Ark.; two grandchildren, Zack Novak and Amanda Novak both of North Andover, Md.; sisters, Dolores Bose Messick of Tulsa and Marjorie Bose of Weatherford; a brother, Jim Bose, and his wife, Brenda, of Stillwater; sisters in-law, Ernestine Bose of Bessie, Roberta Bose of Fort Worth, Texas , Janice Guy, and husband Jim, of Yukon; and many nieces and nephews.
