Ward 3 hopefuls air diverse views
Voters going to the polls Tuesday to help select Clinton’s next Ward 3 city councilman will get to choose from three men with a variety of opinions, based on their answers to questions at Friday’s candidate forum hosted by the Chamber of Commerce.
Leon Kinder thinks things are bad here and he would like to see them get back to the way they were more than 20 years ago when he worked for the city.
Paul Brown thinks a lot of things are good but they could be better.
And Chuy Rosales generally likes things as they are but feels people need to be motivated to improve things.
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday. Ward 3 generally consists of the southwest quarter of town. A map showing ward lines is printed on Page 8 of today’s Clinton Daily News.
