Edward McLaughlin
Funeral services for Edward McLaughlin, 86, Clinton resident, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Kiesau Memorial Chapel.
He died Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2015, at Grace Living Center in Clinton.
Edward McLaughlin was born Feb. 25, 1929, the son of Jewell McLaughlin in Butler. He was raised by his grandfather, W. Rayford McLaughlin.
He married Peggy June McLaughlin Jan. 20, 1950. He began working for Bills Bakery in 1950 and after 17 years he started a career with Kellwood Factory and worked for them until it closed and he retired.
He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy, of the home; his son, Eddy Lyn McLaughlin, and his wife, Vanya, of Oklahoma City; his sister, Louise Miller, of San Diego, Calif.; his brother, Bill Griffin, of Redlands, Calif.; three grandchildren, Brian McLaughlin, Vanessa McLaughlin and Nolan McLaughlin; and several cousins including special cousin, Naomi Anderson, of Moore.
Services will be officiated by Rev. Nolan Wade McLaughlin. Burial will conclude in the Clinton Cemetery under direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.
