Eldon Glenn Jr.

Funeral services will be held for Eldon Dale Glenn Jr., 66, former Clinton resident, at 2 p.m. Monday at Kiesau Memorial Chapel.

He died Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015, at his home in Hinton.

Glenn was born Oct. 5, 1949, to Eldon Dale Glenn and Billie Lou (Winningham) Glenn, in Clinton. He was raised and attended school in Clinton, and graduated from Clinton High School in 1968.  He was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1968. He served in Vietnam and received numerous metals, including the Purple Heart, and received his honorable discharge in August, 1971. Afterward he attended watch making/repair school in Okmulgee, at Okmulgee Tech.

In 1973, Glenn married Norma Fisher, and together they had one daughter, Angie Dale Glenn. He later married Brenda Acklin in 1982, in Amarillo, Texas, and together they had four children. In 2011 he married Glenda Sisson.

Glenn worked as a goldsmith and was employed by the U.S. Postal Service while living in Arizona. When he retired from the postal service he moved back to Oklahoma, where he worked for Lee Funeral Home in Cordell.  

He is preceded in death by his father; a sister, Lenora Glenn; paternal grandparents, A.G. and Hazel Glenn; maternal grandparents, Bill and Hazel Willingham; and a nephew, Joey Lee.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda, of the home; his mother, Billie Lou Duncan and husband, Ervin; step-mother Betty Glenn Arther and husband, Arlie, of Hydro; four daughters, Angie (Glenn) Newcomb and husband, Chris, Amanda Glenn, Phoenix, Ariz., Amy Glenn, Amarillo, Texas, and Lori Glenn Bossert and husband, Josh, Scottsdale, Ariz.; a son, William Glenn, Phoenix, Ariz.; two sisters, Margie Blalock and husband, Darrin, Yukon, and Lela Farmer and husband, Rick, of Hydro; five brothers, Doug Ervin, Las Vegas, Nev., Edwin Lee and wife, Kathrine, Salina, Kan., J.T. Lee and wife, Lissa, Hydro, Troy Lee and wife, Toni, Clinton, and Jack Lee and wife, Peggy, Clinton; a step-son, Justin Sisson, Mustang; two step-daughters, Jami Boling and husband, Keith, Hinton, and Jennifer Wilson and husband, James, Mustang. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be officiated by Rev. R.B. Mathis. Interment will follow at Clinton Cemetery under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.
