Billy Locklear

A memorial service will be held for Billy Ray Locklear, 65, of Clinton, at 1 p.m. today (Saturday), at Granite Assembly of God Church. He died Sunday, Dec. 20, 2015, in Midwest City.

Locklear was born Aug. 2, 1950, to F.R. (Gus) and Betty Jean (Sanders) Locklear, in Altus. Most of his youth was spent in Hollis, where he graduated from Hollis High School. After graduating he became active in the family roofing business, and in 1969 married Vicki Hubanks. Later, he was an owner of Locklear Bonded Roofing in Vernon, Texas, for many years, and made many friends throughout his business work area.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, John. He is survived by one daughter, Angel Schultz, Saugus, Calif.; two grandchildren, Sydnee Schultz and Jake Schultz; two sisters, Mary Acosta, San Antonio, Texas, and Barbara Walker, Chickasha; and many other relatives and friends.  

The service will be officiated by Pastor Tim McGough and a private interment will follow at Granite Rock Cemetery. Online tributes may be made to the family at www.GreerFuneral.com.
