Daniel Wilson

Graveside services for Daniel Franklin Wilson, 92, will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Arapaho Cemetery.

Mr. Wilson died on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016.

He was born Dec. 8, 1923, in Gotebo, to Cuba Roscoe Wilson and Bessie Lee (Baker) Wilson. He attended Arapaho Schools. Wilson joined the U.S. Army and served during WWII, and married Stella G. Killian on March 2, 1947, in Clinton.

Wilson worked for Superior Feed Company and Oklahoma County District #1 as a truck driver, and also as a bus driver and custodian for Choctaw Nicoma Park Public Schools.

He is survived by his wife, of the home; son David E. Wilson and wife, Joyce, of Choctaw; daughter Lena Essick, of Warner; sister-in-law Jessie Fay Booth, of Bessie; brother-in-law Gerald W. Killian and wife, Sue, of Wardville; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
