Vickie Neely
A chapel service for Vickie Neely, 66, of Arapaho, will be held today at 2 p.m. in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel.
She died Friday, Feb. 26, 2016, at Grace Living Center in Clinton.
She was born Aug. 3, 1949, to Phil Albert Corr and Beulah M. (Razey) Corr, in Cherokee. She was raised in Ingersoll, and moved to Cherokee when she was about 10 years old. She attended Cherokee schools and graduated in 1968. In 1968 she married Floyd Lewis “Louie” Neely in Clinton, and they made their home in Arapaho.
She worked at Dairy Best and Dairy Queen, was a home daycare provider, a private healthcare sitter, and most recently was a retired social service and activity director.
Mrs. Neely was a member of the First Church of God, and enjoyed reading, singing hymns, working in her garden, playing cards, board games and dominoes, playing bingo, penny slot machines, and watching Oklahoma University football games.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, William Fisher.
She is survived by her husband, of the home; a daughter, Michelle Renea (Neely) Clifton and husband, Danny, of Sayre; a son, Gabriel Lewis Neely and fiancée, Kendra Carpenter, of Pecos, Texas; six grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Services will be officiated by Pastors Leonard and Wilma Jackson. Interment will follow at Arapaho Cemetery under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.
