Blanca Roque

Funeral services for Blanca Sofia Roque, 32, have been set for 10 a.m.  Thursday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Clinton.

Roque died on Thursday, April 14, 2016, near Sayre.

She was born Nov. 27, 1983, in Clinton, to John and Maria (Armenta) Roque. She was raised in California, where she attended Mayflower High School before moving to the Clinton area. In 2003 she married

Arthur Arnold at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Clinton. She worked as a certified nurse’s assistant at Cordell Christian Home and at the United Methodist Health Care Center in Clinton. She enjoyed coloring with her children and taking them out to dinner, and she also enjoyed helping others whenever she was able.

Roque was preceded in death by her grandparents, Manuel and Luisa Roque; her maternal grandfather, Juan Armenta; her sister-in-law, JoAnna Arnold; and two uncles, Jesus and Simon Roque.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Alyssa and Dalyla Arnold, of Dill City; one son, Arthur Arnold Jr., of Dill City; her parents, of Dill City; one sister, Elvita Roque, of California; and her brother, Carlos Miquel Roque, of Dill City.

There will be a wake at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel.

Services will be officiated by Father Pudota. Interment will follow at Clinton Cemetery under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.
