For the second straight day, parts of Clinton were adversely impacted Thursday afternoon when a utility company’s normal operations were interrupted.
This time it was Public Service Company which had a problem. The problem was at its Clinton substation, where a faulty arrestor on a transformer went out, temporarily halting electrical delivery to approximately 4,000 customers.
On Wednesday, Internet service was lost and some 911 systems across a wide part of Oklahoma were interrupted when an AT&T fiber line was inadvertently cut, reportedly near El Reno.
