Custer Reunion, 5K Run planned

The Custer All-School Reunion, held once every five years, will be held Saturday, Sept. 3 in Custer City. Earlier that day organizers will also hold the Panther Prowl 5K Run at 8 a.m., followed by a One-Mile Fun Run. Plans are to stage the Panther prowl for every reunion.
Pre-registration is open for the timed 5K and the fun run. From now until Aug. 15 the cost is $25 for the 5K and $20 for the fun run. After Aug. 15 the registration cost will be $35.
Traci Heerwald, one of the run’s organizers, said a commemorative Panther Prowl Reunion T-shirt will be given to those who pre-register before Aug. 15.
