Softball gets first win of the season

THOMAS - Head coach Lisa Moss and the 2016 Lady Reds’ softball team (1-6 overall) earned their first win 7-5 over Thomas Monday.
Moss said the team worked for each other to get the win.
“The girls came together and played hard and put in the extra effort to make plays,” she said. “They never got rattled.”
The box score mirrored Moss’ comments. The team came back from a 3-2 deficit in the sixth. They tied the game at three apiece. Then, the Lady Reds exploded for four runs in the seventh to seal the game.
