Clinton softball picked up its first win on Monday, but followed it up with a step back 15-1 loss to Woodward Tuesday at home.
Head coach Lisa Moss said the girls failed shake past run-ins with the Boomers.
“We came out absolutely scared to death,” she said. “They got beat before they even played. The crazy thing is, we were playing with them. We had bases loaded first inning and scored one. We gave up the two runs in the first inning. It should’ve been 1-0 after the first inning.”
