Carlas Crawford

Funeral services will be held for Carlas “Mattie” Crawford, 48, Oklahoma City resident and former Clinton resident, at 1 p.m. Saturday at Bethany Baptist Church.

Carlas died Thursday, Dec. 24, 2015, at Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City.

She was born June 4, 1967, to Freddie Lee Crawford and Vera Mae (Favors) Crawford, in Chillicothe, Texas. She was raised and attended school in Clinton and in California.

Crawford was employed as a telemarketer for a number of years in Edmond, and was also a certified curse’s aide.  

She was a member of the Gospel Light House in Oklahoma City.

Her parents and three brothers, Freddie Lee Crawford Jr., Vincent Crawford and Christopher Crawford, preceded her in death.

Survivors include four sisters, Jerelyn Crawford, Oklahoma City, Joy Cutter and husband Ronald, Katy, Texas, Kenya Crawford, Oklahoma City, and Tina Crawford, Oklahoma City; a brother, Mike Crawford, and wife Belinda Thompson Crawford Clinton; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.  

Services will be officiated by Rev. Lawrence Smoots and Rev. Billy Mucker. Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
