Carolyn Pool

Funeral services for Carolyn Pool, 69, of Clinton, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the First Church of God.

She died Thursday, May 5, 2016, at Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City.
Carolyn (Muir) Pool was born April 12, 1947, to James Clifton and Anna Katherine (Johnson) Muir, in Perryton, Texas.  She was raised and attended school in Stratford.  

In 1964 she married Charles Pool in Stratford, Texas.  They made their first home in Dumas, Texas. and later moved to Clinton in 1981. Pool attended beauty college and received her cosmetology license.

She enjoyed hand work, crocheting, square dancing and country western dancing, family gatherings and having cook-outs.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, James Douglas Muir.

Survivors include her husband, of the home; daughters Sarina Kay Robertson and husband Mike, of Clinton, Linda “Terry” Pool, of the home, and Christy Lacy, of Clinton; five grandchildren, Kerri Reynolds, Kandi Pool, James Pool, Joey Lacy and Garison Lacy; and five great-grandchildren, Kinley, Rylie, Konner, Kyler and Keller.

Services will be officiated by Rev. Roy Dobbs.  Interment will follow at Clinton Cemetery under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.
