Dwaine Knabe

Funeral services for Dwaine Knabe, 67, of Clinton, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Kiesau Memorial Chapel.

Knabe died Saturday, March 12, 2016.

He was born Nov. 5, 1948, to Beatrice and Adolph Knabe, in Hereford, Texas. He married Ellie Mae Howard on June 24, 1972, in Childress, Texas, and the couple moved to Clinton in 1976.

Knabe loved the outdoors, photography, shooting, and working with his hands.

He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Lynda; his parents; and his younger brother, Darrell.

He is survived by his wife, of the home; his sons, Richard and wife Christine, of Whitewright, Texas, and Greg and wife Melissa, of Clinton; five grandchildren, Michael Knabe, of Clinton, Ryan, Devin, Caitlin, and Robbin Knabe of Whitewright, Texas; and three younger brothers, Weldon, Adolph, and Raymond.

Visitation will be at Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday.

Memorial donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or the National Diabetes Association.

Services will be officiated by Deacon Bill Hough, under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.
