Frances M. Key
Graveside services for, Frances M. Key, 91, of Arapaho, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Arapaho City Cemetery.
Mrs. Key died Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2015, at Integris Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City.
She was born Sept. 28, 1923, in Comanche County, the daughter of Daniel and Julia (Adams) Rockey. She was raised and went to school in Stewart.
She married John H. Key Sept. 26, 1943. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church in Levelland, Texas.
She loved to crochet, cook, play cards, read, play dominoes, and especially spend time with her family. In 2001 she moved to Arapaho to be closer to family members.
Mrs. Key was preceded in death by both parents; her husband; a son, Richard Key; a grandson, Marty Key; four brothers, Earrell G. Rockey, Marvin M. Rockey, Richard V. Rockey and Leslie J. Rockey; and four sisters, Mildred M. Splawn, Elizabeth I. Naves, Mabel A. McDonald and Hazel L. Helterbrand.
She is survived by three sons, John L. Key and his wife, Debbie, of Odessa, Texas, Raymond Key of Clayburn, Texas, and James Key and his wife, Frances, of Arapaho; her sister, Maxine K. Rockey Reid, of Brownwood, Texas; 14 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
Charlie Murphy will officiate the services under direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.
