George Hall

Funeral services for George Hall, 69, of Clinton, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Gospel Tabernacle Church of Arapaho.
He died Monday, Aug. 29, 2016, at AllianceHealth Clinton hospital.
Harman George Hall was born May 22, 1947, to Fannie E. (May) and Harman Gladden “Toby” Hall, in Shreveport, La.
Mr. Hall was raised in Gloster, La., and graduated from Woodlawn High School.
He joined the U.S. Army for two years, and after his honorable discharge made his home in Keatchie, La., where he worked on a dairy farm.
He then began working in the oil and gas industry and moved to Clinton in 1991. He married Jean Stow in 1993, and the couple made their home in Clinton.
Hall continued working in the oil field and at Bar-S Foods, and he also owned and operated Lazy H Farms, LLC.
He was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church of Arapaho, the American Legion, the National Rifle Association, and the Texas Longhorns Association.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Frances Hall; a daughter, Lisa Hall; a brother-in-law, Bobby Saddler; and two grandsons, Rusty and Dusty Robbins.
Hall is survived by his wife, of the home; three daughters, Chris Robbins and husband, Ray, of Doyline, La., Lucy Shih and husband, Raymond, and Kathy Reeves, all of Shreveport, La.; two step-sons, Gary Davis and wife, Jill, of Whitman, Ariz., and Jim Davis and wife, Julie, of Sun City, Ariz.; a sister, Millie Saddler of Keithville, La.; a  special aunt that helped raise him, Bettie Joe Williams, of Keithville, La.; his longtime friend, Jimmy Adams, of Clinton; 11 grandchildren, Heath Hayden, Michael Stuckey, E’Lise Hall, Brandi Reeves, Kara Reeves, Dalton Davis, Shaylee Davis, Jaylee Davis, Jarin Davis, Jackson Davis and Jacie Davis; three great-grandchildren, Hunter Hayden, Audree Hayden and Hadlee Hayden; a niece, Missy Williams; a nephew, John Fred Saddler; and two great-nephews, Christopher Noble and Tripp Williams.
The service will be officiated by Pastor Wendell Folsom and under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.
There will be a second funeral service at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Rose-Neath South Funeral Home in Shreveport, La. Interment will follow at Stonewall Cemetery in Stonewall, La.
