Harold Buehler

Funeral services will be held for Harold James Buehler, 65, at 10 a.m. Saturday at Peace Lutheran Church in Bessie.
He died Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2016, in Cordell.
Buehler was born March 31, 1951, to Julius and Dora Buehler, in Clinton. He attended Cordell schools, where he graduated from high school.
After graduation he attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University, and graduated in 1974 with a degree in accounting.
Buehler worked for Franklin Texaco, Don Howard Chevrolet and Buck Chevrolet. He rough-necked in the oilfield until 1986 and then became a certified welder.
He joined the U.S. Army Reserve and spent 28 years serving his country. Buehler retired in 2006 at the rank of 1st Sergeant.
He farmed with his brother until his passing.
Buehler was confirmed in the Lutheran Church May 16, 1965.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his brother, Donald Buehler, of Cordell, and numerous family and friends.
The service will be officiated by Kevin Creed. Interment will follow at Peace Lutheran Cemetery in Bessie.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to Peace Lutheran Church in Bessie.
