Hollis Lee

 

Funeral services for Hollis Lee, 61, of Weatherford will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Indian Baptist Church in Weatherford.
He died Saturday, March 31, 2018, at Cornerstone Hospital in Shawnee. 
Lee was born July 7, 1956, in Clinton to Delbert Wills and Estherline Lee. He was raised and attended school in the Weatherford area and graduated from Corn Bible Academy in 1974. 
He attended Haskell Indian Nations University, where he met his wife, Pearl Longee. After they married, they made their home in Weatherford. 
Lee worked at BOP Ram more than 30 years. He enjoyed going to the snake hunt in Waynoka for several years. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, working, watching movies, animals, going to the lake, and sports. He also ran a marathon from Weatherford to Clinton. 
He was preceded in death by his parents; his foster parents, Betty and Elmer Quiring; and one brother, Dwayne.
Survivors include his wife, of the Clinton home; a daughter, Michele Lee Cruz and husband Telesforo Cruz; three grandchildren, Odyssey, Harmoney and Sky Cruz, all of Clinton; one brother, Jessie Flyingout of Weatherford; and three sisters, Euline Lee and Larry Sharp of Weatherford, Debra Davis and husband Kelly of Konawa, and Marsha Wills and Dean Smallin of Weatherford. 
Memorials may be made to the Indian Baptist Church in Weatherford.
A wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Indian Baptist Church.
The service will be officiated by George Akeens. Burial will follow at Canton Cemetery in Canton.
