Jack Warner

 

Jack Doyle Warner, 97, of Hammon, died on Saturday, March 23, 2019, in Hammon. 
He was born at Hammon on Oct. 9, 1921, to E.J. and Rebecca Jane (Cox) Warner. 
Warner proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps from December 1939 until his honorable discharge in 1946. He was a prisoner-of-war for 42 months while serving in World War II, during which time he escaped twice.
He married June Elaine Brown on March 4, 1946, in Elk City. 
Warner was preceded in death by his wife.
