Katrena Rightnowar

Funeral services for Katrena Rightnowar, 71, of Clinton, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Broadway Heights Baptist Church.

Mrs. Rightnowar died Friday, March 4, 2016, at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City.

Katrena Sue (Williams) Rightnowar was born Feb. 3, 1945, to Don and Vivian (Clark) Williams, in Burma.

Raised in Clinton, she graduated from Clinton High School in 1963.  She attended Southwestern State College in Weatherford before marrying Harley Oren “Jack” Rightnowar II, in Clinton.  They moved for a short time to Wichita Falls, Texas, then returned to Clinton where Mrs. Rightnowar lived the remainder of her life. 

She was employed as a bookkeeper for John T. Jones, Marvin Lawson, David Howe, Buck Chevrolet and Circle S Paving, where she retired.

Rightnowar was a member of the Broadway Heights Baptist Church, ESA Sorority, and the Credit Women’s International Finance.  She enjoyed doing crafts, crocheting, sewing and making quilts.  

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a daughter, Jacqueline Cloninger, who passed away Feb. 17, 2016.

She is survived by a son, Harley Oren “Trey” Rightnowar III and his partner, Kirby Wood, of Clinton; two sisters, Rena Holland and husband Jim, of Yukon, and Cheri Farrell and husband Craig, of Oklahoma City; a brother, Don Williams and wife Vonnie, of Austin, Texas; a son-in-law, Eric Cloninger, of Hydro; two grandchildren, Elijah Cloninger and Ysabeau Cloninger, both of Hydro, and many nieces and nephews. 

Services will be officiated by Rev. George Knapp. Interment will be at Arapaho Cemetery under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.
