Larry Seabolt

Funeral services for Larry Seabolt, 69, Clinton resident, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel.

He died Thursday, Sept. 3, 2015, at the Clinton Veterans Center.

Larry Gale Seabolt was born Jan. 13, 1946, the son of Francis Lee “Sam” and Wenona (Merrill) Seabolt in Jay. He was raised and attended school in Jay.  

He enlisted in the U.S. Army Feb. 28, 1968, and served in the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged March 20, 1969.  

He has spent most of his adult life in Clinton. He has been in the tree trimming business and has served as foreman for various tree trimming companies.

Seabolt was married to Bobbie Jo Touchtone May 26, 1984, in Jay.  

He is a member of the Cherokee NE Tribe and the American Legion. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking out and barbecuing for family and friends. His passion was spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Odene Seabolt and Karen Black; and two brothers, Donald Seabolt and Les Seabolt.

Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Jo, of the home; his children, Regina Arriaga and her husband, Carmen, Adam Seabolt and his wife, Anna, Chasity Richardson and her husband, Bobby, all of Clinton, and Chad Horrell, of Chickasha; his brother, James Seabolt, Quincy, Calif.; sisters, Joyce Maples and her husband, Tom, of Jay, Janice Creason, of Mena, Ark., Brenda Cecil, of Mena, Mary Ann York and her husband, Joe, of Muskogee, Glenda Madden, of Mena, Judy Hudson and her husband, Billy, of Eucha; his mother-in-law, Oveda Touchtone, of Clinton; 10 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be officiated by Rev. Ross Foster. Burial will conclude in the Butler Cemetery under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.
