Larry William Coulson

Memorial services for Larry William Coulson are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. today (Tuesday) in the Arapaho Methodist Church.

Coulson, age 71 and a longtime Arapaho resident, died Friday, June 5, 2015, in Clinton. He was born Jan. 29, 1944, the third son of George William and Vera Lorene (Parr) Coulson.

He was a member of the Arapaho Methodist Church.

Coulson graduated from Arapaho High School in 1962 and began farming with his dad. In September of that same year he married Donna Campbell in Midwest City, and together they had four daughters and adopted two sons.

Coulson farmed and raised cattle west of Arapaho for 40 years. He then sold his farming operation to his brother and retired to Estes Park, Colo., where he invested in several businesses and real estate. He also traded commodities and stock.

In 2005 he married Regina Bradford of Odessa, Texas. They made their home in Capitan, N.M. He lived for several years in the Sand Springs area before returning to Arapaho in 2013.

Preceding him in death were his parents; a brother, George Curtis Coulson; one son, Cole Garrick Coulson; and a daughter, Holly Colleen Myers.

Survivors include a brother, Wade Eugene Coulson; daughters, Kelly (Jeff) Stephens, of Clinton, Lorry Curtis, of Ryan, and Dulcy (Noel) Mock, of Sand Springs; a son, Garth Coulson, of Norman; 14 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and a very special friend, Judy Haggard, of Arapaho.
