Mabel Anderson
Graveside services for Mabel Anderson, 79, former Butler resident, were held Monday at Butler Cemetery.
She died on Friday, May 20, 2016, at the Sterling House in Bethany.
Mabel Louise (Archer) Anderson was born July 19, 1936, to H.R. and Rhoda Ellen (Davis) Archer, in Butler. She was raised in the Butler area and graduated from Butler High School.
She married Clyde Anderson, and the couple made their home in Clinton for several years. Later, Mrs. Anderson resided in the Oklahoma City area.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; grandson, Jon Paul Sumpter; and her sister, Mary Ann Hutson.
Survivors include three daughters, Cynthia Farris, of Leedey, Patti Welbourne and husband Charlie, of Silver Lake, Kan., Melissa Dawn Collier and husband Brad, of Taloga; son Clyde Anderson Jr., of Oklahoma City; sister Rhodora Billie Taylor, of Elk City; brother H.R. Archer and wife Carolyn, of Colorado; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The services were officiated by Rev. Dale Nease under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.
