Mike Richardson

A memorial service for Mickuel “Mike” Dayton Richardson, 53, of Weatherford, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Weatherford.
He died Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016, at Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City.
Richardson was born May, 8, 1963, to Ross and Corena (Scrudder) Richardson in Weatherford, where he spent his first few years. His family later moved to Hobart, where he graduated from Hobart High School in 1981. He attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University and majored in industrial arts.
He worked for Hillcrest Hospital in Oklahoma City and later moved to Tuttle, where he worked for the ambulance service. He then returned to Southwestern Oklahoma State University to pursue a criminal justice degree. Richardson worked for the Juvenile Affairs Office in Clinton, and had lived in Weatherford the past 25 years.
He enjoyed scuba diving, shooting sports and target practice, photography, and was an avid storyteller.
Richardson was preceded in death by his mother.
He is survived by his father; two sisters, Susan Boyanton and husband Richard, of Mustang, and Gayle Hair and husband Curtis, of Oklahoma City.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or Oklahoma Medical Research Fund.
The service will be officiated by Pastor Earl Stephenson.
