Modelle McLin

A committal service for Modelle Beatrice Reed McLin, 99, will be held Oct. 24 at the Clinton Cemetery.

She died Oct. 4, 2015, at her residence.

She was born June 2, 1916, in Custer County. She married Dale McLin, who died in 1984 after 50 years of marriage.

Mrs. McLin was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son, James; and her brothers, Robert Clayton Elmore Reed and Joe Reed.

Survivors include her daughter, Janet, and her husband, Bill, of Fort Worth, Texas; five grandchildren, Teresa Grizzle, Kristina Hartman, Jamie Langston and her husband, Douglas, Christin Bator and her husband, John, and Roderick Lanier and his wife, Kelly; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; her brother, Gary Dean Reed of Missouri; and nieces and nephews and their families.

Rev. Roland Youngberg will preside over the services. Burial will be under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.
