Roberta Jean (Shockey) Atchley

Funeral services for Roberta Jean (Shockey) Atchley, 65, of Clinton, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the United Methodist Church of Clinton, officiated by Rev. Charles Murphy and Rev. Eugene Thieszen.
Mrs. Atchley died early Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014, in the Integris Clinton Regional Hospital. She was born June 22, 1948, in Sayre, the daughter of Leon A. Shockey and Carmel A. (Crowder) Shockey.
Mrs. Atchley was raised in Carter and graduated from Carter High School in 1966. She married David L. Atchley on May 14, 1966, in Carter.
They made their home in Clinton, where she was employed with Clinton Public Schools and served as a secretary at Washington Elementary School.
She also worked for Dr. Bob Thompson and for the past 15 years she had worked for Atwoods, retiring in June of 2013.
Preceding her in death were her parents; and a grandson, Brice Atchley.
Survivors include her husband, David, of the home; three sons, Bryan Atchley and his wife, Kathy, Brent Atchley and his wife, Jill, and Brandon Atchley and his girlfriend, Amber, all of Clinton; two brothers, Steve Shockey and his wife , Lois, of Oklahoma City and Jack Shockey and his wife, of Leedey; and four grandchildren, Brantley Atchley, Bryler Atchley, Madison Atchley and Brooklynn Athchley.
Burial will conclude in the Parkersburg Cemetery, southwest of Clinton, under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home, in Clinton.
