Sherry Ruth Lancaster

Funeral services for Sherry Lancaster, 60, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Ray and Martha’s Funeral Chapel in Hobart, with Rev. Chris Block officiating.

Born Sherry Ruth Bridges on Sept. 5, 1955, she died Friday, July 31, 2015, of breast cancer. She lived in Clinton, Cordell and Hobart throughout her life.

Lancaster was a cosmetologist and then a home care aide for home health until she became disabled. She was raised Assembly of God here where her grandpa, Rev. R. B. Ainsworth, was pastor.

Survivors include her only child, Misty Joslin, and son-in-law, Jimmy Joslin; two grandchildren, Matthew and Hannah Joslin; and her only nephew, Philip Sheffield.

Preceding her in death were her mother, Lee Gracia; father, Felter Bridges; and her only sister, Tammy Sheffield.

Family visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral chapel in Hobart.

Burial will follow at Hobart Rose Cemetery.
