Toni Ainsworth Smith
Services for Toni Ainsworth Smith, 58, will be held Sunday, 2 p.m. Nov. 8, at New Beginnings Assembly of God Church in Cordell.
She died Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015, in Cordell.
She was born July 4, 1947, to Robert and Annie (Lewis) Ainsworth in Cordell. She was raised and attended school in Cordell. She worked at the Cordell Christian Home and as a beautician for several years, and she owned and operated a produce stand called The Sugar Shack.
She was known for her beehive hairdo and Immaculate makeup. She married Jimmie Smith on Oct. 25, 2012, in Cordell. She was an avid garage saler. She loved visiting with family and friends, and enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. She especially enjoyed spending time with her lifelong friend, Hazel Elliott.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmie, of the home; daughter Twila Lessly and husband, Frederick, of Dennison, Texas; son Robert Putman and wife, Wendy, of Cordell; step-children Randall Smith of Oklahoma City and Terri Johnson of Clinton; brother Jerry Ainsworth and wife, Joyce, of Irving, Texas; three grandchildren, Rhett Putman, Bailey Lessly and Emily Vickery; and a host of dear nieces, nephews, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; nine brothers; four sisters; and one son, Greg Vickery.
Services will be officiated by Rev. Mike Southerland. Interment will follow at Lawnview Cemetery, under the direction of Musick Varner Funeral Home.
