Virginia Lee Bach

Funeral services will be held for Virginia Lee (Taylor) Bach, 96, of Clinton, at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Eugene’s Catholic Church in Weatherford.
She died Monday, July 25, 2016, at Weatherford Regional Hospital.
Bach was born Feb. 6, 1920, to Mathew Rothel Taylor and Mabel (Howard) Taylor, in Custer City. She grew up in Custer City on the family farm and graduated from high school in 1937. After graduation she attended Draughon’s Business School in Oklahoma City, and then returned to Custer City to help on the family farm.
In 1942 she married Clarence Bach, in Anthon. The couple moved to San Diego, Calif., where they both helped in the war effort by building aircraft for Consolidated Aircraft.
They later returned to Custer City and established their home, where Bach worked alongside her husband in farming.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Mary (Bach) Mahan; a son, John Bach; a brother, Marion Taylor; and two sisters, Viola June Hurd and Lyda Butts.
Survivors include daughter, Dorothy Clancy, and husband, T.K., of Elk City; a son, Frank Bach, and wife Glenda, of Custer City; daughter, Barbara Daniel, and husband, Chuck, of Weatherford; six grandchildren, David Clancy, Debbie Mullin, Terry and Tammy Bach, Jackie and Bob Gauger, Tommy and Katie Daniel and Heather McCornack; nine great-grandchildren, Temple Kristopher Clancy, Jesse Clancy, Logan Gauger, Taylor Bach, Connor Bach, Melody McCornack, Matthew McCornack, Braxton Daniel and Kody; seven great-great-grandchildren, Madison Clancy, Zach Clancy, Braxton Clancy, Allison Clancy, Carson Clancy, Addison Bach and Clay Bach.
Rosary services will be held at 7 p.m. Friday in the Chapel at Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.
The service will be officiated by Father Christopher Tran.
